THE SCIENCE OF HIV
The Science of HIV project aims to use animated visualizations and illustrations to captivate, inform and educate diverse audiences. Animations, 3D-rendered illustrations, and this website were created by members of the Animation Lab at the University of Utah (Janet Iwasa, Grace Hsu, and Rachel Torrez) in collaboration with HIV researchers around the globe, and reflect current hypotheses on how HIV infects the human body.
Watercolor paintings were created by David Goodsell (Scripps Institute).
